Skiing from just below the highest point in Austria
Very popular mountain in summer, is a paradise in winter and spring months for skitouring. The valley offers just the right steepness for a plesant ski from just below the top of Grossglockner.

On the fist day we drive to Lucknerhaus (1920 m). From there we start skining up the valley towards Studlhutte (2802m), which is our goal for the first day. Studlhutte offers a very good starting point for Grossglockner ascend and it is also known for it's 5-star cuisine.
Next day we start by ascending the remains of the glacier towards Erzherzog Johann Hutte (3454 m), which is the highest alpine hut in Austria. Unfortunately it is closed during winter and sping months. We leave skiing equipement near the hut and prepare for final ascend of the SE ridge to the summit of Grossglockner (3798 m). After celebration on the summit, we descend folowing the same route to ski depo. From there we have aprox. 1600 vertical meters of pristine skiing, right to the car.

It is possible to do Grossglockner on skis from car to car in one day. In this case, different prices apply: 1 client - 650 €, 2 clients - 400 €. This option is suitable only for very physically fit and experienced skiers.
