One of the easiest routes accessible from Vršič pass with short approch and descend (both about 45 min). Great for beginner climbers. Can easly be done in the afternoon.

Nad Šitom Glava (2087 m), East ridge

The route follows the eastern ridge of mount Nad Šitom Glava, which is well visible from the road. Since it is close to the road, this route has a very short approach (30 min). With its exposure, it is one of the most magnificent routes above Vršič pass, suitable for intermediate climbers.

Nad Šitom Glava (2087 m), Dehidral route

As the name suggests, this route folows an obvious dehidral throughout the whole climb. It's a classic climb with good rock above Vršič pass, that is recommended to climbers with a bit of experience in multipitch climbing.

Velika Mojstrovka (2366 m), Debelakova route

An impresive climb away from the crowds with slightly longer approach (1.15 h). This classic 500 m route was established nearly a century ago and still presents a great challenge. Throughout the climb, there are beautiful views on Tamar valley, mount Jalovec and surrounding peaks. If you have done at least one climbing route in the mountains of such grade, this is for you.
