Once hiking and scrambling is no longer a challenge, the next step is climbing routes or ridge crossings. The concentration needed to move in vertical terrain ensures that we certainly feel fulfilled and happy with ourselves at the end of the day and are already thinking about how far can we push our personal boundaries.

Triglav North Face Climbs
One of the highest walls in Europe
Triglav North face has over 130 established climbing routes. The dificulty of the routes is ranging from beginners to advanced level. The most popular is Slovenian route (grade III), which is very sutable for beginners. Right after the Slovenian route is Short German route (grade IV+) which is a bit more difficult than Slovenian route. German route can be extended into a Long German route that leads right to the top of Triglav and is the longest route in Triglav, covering no less than 1300 m of climbing.

Triglav is Slovenian national symbol and our highest mountain. With an altitude of 2864 m it may seem small, compared to some other mountains in the Alps, but offers many posibilites for an advanture. One can do single or multi-day hiking/mounteneering tour or a climb over the famous 1000 m steep North face. For reference, Triglav North face is amog the three tallest faces in Europe.
